13 is not the 7" 13-series lizard's lucky number. Seems this unlucky reptile cannot get too close without being busted by a prespawn or spawning bass. Who knows why this is so, but bass bust lizards every spring everywhere. As the season progresses and fish move into deeper water during summer, still send the 13 charging into the depths after them ...on a Carolina rig.
