The new Frog-R is a great option for a variety of situations, from pond fishing to working the shoreline of a huge reservoir, and from streams to bigger rivers. The disturbance the Frog-R creates makes it fish a lot “bigger” than its size suggests, and is great for any game fish that’s feeding off the top.
While the Rebel Frog-R is designed to do the Spook walk, but the size, profile and multi-step decoration process allows the angler to vary the retrieve to match the mood of the fish. Sometimes a bass wants the lure sitting still, and other times you can’t reel fast enough. The Frog-R can be worked in slow-motion and paused for minutes at a time to catch lethargic fish.
